Lessons

My studio is in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, about five minutes drive from the town centre.

For online lessons I use the Zoom platform. 

​

Lessons are for everyone from complete beginners to advanced players and for all ages from seven upwards. Sessions are normally weekly or fortnightly with the frequency, length and cost being entirely dependent on the needs of the student. There are a number of things to be considered when deciding on how often to have a lesson and on how long each lesson should be - previous experience as a player (if any), age and time available for practising are all important factors.

I would recommend a parent or guardian sits in on the first session or two for a younger player so a full understanding of how the lessons work can be acquired - and any questions can be answered.

Learning with a teacher need not be expensive - there are lessons available to suit all levels and budgets from complete beginner to advanced!
